When We Were Very Young

collage.jpg

A selection of tot shots of some of your favorite misfits including Lisa, Barbara, Nadine, Jo Anne, Doe, CountryGirl, Christina, Vero, Anne, Deege, and yours truly.

I would have uploaded a movie/slide show, but the file was too big.

If you have a tot shot you'd like included, go ahead and email it to me.

We must have been beautiful babies, cuz baby, look at us now!

You have to click on the picture to get the entire collage.

It's a funky transfer between the image program and Movable Type. Oh well!

Such a lovely bunch of tots! Christina's mom does look like Jackie O.

For anyone who is a Hannibal fan, the prequel is coming out at the end of this year. It's called Behind The Mask and details Hannibal's earlier years.

I didn't even know Thomas Harris was writing another book! He is notoriously reclusive and had said in one of his rare interviews that he was tired of Hannibal and didn't think he had anything else to say about him.

This will be on top of my Christmas List.

Those pictures are just so cute!

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 17, 2006 06:07 PM

Only 98 shopping days until Christmas, Lisa!

Posted by: Isabella | September 17, 2006 08:24 PM

Will you be ready?

I usually try to get a few things beginning in October.

Posted by: Nadine | September 17, 2006 08:26 PM

You guys are way to organized for me.

There is just something wrong with seeing decorated Christmas trees in September. I did run across that last week. Bah Humbug. LOL!

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 17, 2006 09:06 PM

Oh, now that's sacrilege! Just like Halloween costumes in the stores before Labor Day weekend's over with. I kid you not.

Posted by: Nadine | September 17, 2006 09:47 PM

I always think it's funny when the sweaters are hung out in August. We generally have at least 10 more weeks of summer at that point.

Posted by: Lisa | September 17, 2006 09:58 PM

I know!

Don't even talk to me about the Christmas in July sales.

The next thing you know they'll have Valentine's Day candy out for Thanksgiving.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 17, 2006 09:58 PM

I'm laughing over here, but you're both right. It's beyond ridiculous.

CIA spooks buying legal insurance in case of (very possible) indictments:

LINK from Washington Post.

Very interesting part:

One former intelligence official said CIA officers have recently expressed concern that lawsuits will erupt if details of the agency's internal probe of wrongdoing related to the September 2001 attacks become public.

What did I tell you about all roads leading to the CIA?

Posted by: loretta | September 17, 2006 10:41 PM

Shame!

Is this the missing link from previous post?

Posted by: CountryGal | September 18, 2006 01:57 AM

Good morning all!

Doe, I had to rush off to the hairdresser on Friday. I hope you don't think I was dismissive of your extremely kind offer.

I don't have any of the equipment that would be needed to do your product justice. And, that would not be cricket.

Many thanks, Doe. You are definitely a "keeper"!

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 04:41 AM

Why is this Government above the law? Cronyism and Corruption?!

Who is protecting these plundering bast*rds and why?

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 04:43 AM

Good morning!

Oh,I didn't think that at all Mgt!

I hope the hairdresser did you justice. I need to make an appointment myself. Thanks for reminding me.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 18, 2006 09:08 AM

Good morning!

That link is pretty disturbing, Loretta.

Posted by: stacey | September 18, 2006 09:23 AM

Greetings, Stacey!

All respect to Loretta, the truth seeker. I still have to catch up on the links, above.

One thing that surpises me is that I am more enraged by the extent of corruption than I am by the war.

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 09:32 AM

The hairdresser gave me a short cut, Doe.

I have been threatening this for ages and I think I like am pleased with the results.

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 09:35 AM

I'll bet it's really cute on you Mgt!

Hi Stacey!

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 18, 2006 09:47 AM

I wouldn't go that far, Doe. LOL

It was so easy to dry after my shower - cut my getting-ready time by at leaset 10 minutes.

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 09:52 AM

at leaset?

Any suggestions for that one? LOL

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 09:54 AM

Ciao, everybody! Have a good day.

If anyone hears from Vero, please pass on my regards.

Thank you!

Posted by: Mgt | September 18, 2006 11:54 AM

Mgt, I bet your new "do" looks great. You've got such a cute face, I'm sure the shorter hair is a big lift.

I agree, there's so much corruption going on in Iraq. It's a free for all, and the whole thing disgusts me.

Posted by: Nadine | September 18, 2006 01:15 PM

Love the baby pictures. I will have to find one of mine and send to you, Loretta.

Posted by: Justin | September 18, 2006 03:35 PM

My puter has bit the dirt and needs a new hard drive, whatever that is (she said, curling her hair around her finger and scuffing her toe in the dirt).

Whatever it is, it costs.

Posted by: vero | September 18, 2006 04:12 PM

We miss you, Vero.

Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers

The film takes you inside the lives of soldiers, truck drivers, widows and children whose lives have been changed forever as a result of profiteering in the reconstruction of Iraq.

Posted by: Nadine | September 18, 2006 10:58 PM

Good morning all!

Sorry to hear about your woes, Vero.

The hair style is growing on me, Nadine. Pardon the pun. LOL

If I ever get my passport photos taken, I will send a copy to our Hostess but it will take a while.

If there is a God, he should curse those profiteers. It takes a dreadful person to thieve from the needy. Don't suppose there is any chance of them being sent to prison, most of them being buddies of GW and all!

Posted by: Mgt | September 19, 2006 03:44 AM

Where is everyone?

Posted by: Mgt | September 19, 2006 10:50 AM

Good morning! I'm getting ready to go to the dentist. I haven't caught up yet, but wanted to say hello, Mgt!

Posted by: Nadine | September 19, 2006 11:20 AM

Good morning!

I'm going to a hair appointment this morning. Thanks for the inspiration, Mgt! Have a good day everyone.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | September 19, 2006 11:24 AM

Good morning, Nadine! I hope the Dentist appointment is merely a check-up.

I need a filling replaced (bottom right side), but have been putting it off. Even eating rye bread is causing me to flinch. Suppose I better get to it!

Posted by: Mgt | September 19, 2006 11:25 AM

It's for my son, actually. I'm driving him. He's going to be out of it after the appt.

I hope you get yours done soon. Putting it off only makes is worse.

Posted by: Nadine | September 19, 2006 11:26 AM

Hi Doe! Having a new look does give you a bit of a lift.

Good luck with the results. Is it your usual hairdresser?

Posted by: Mgt | September 19, 2006 11:27 AM

Hey, Doe! Didn't see you up there. I really am due for a new look myself. Have fun!

Posted by: Nadine | September 19, 2006 11:30 AM

And off I go. Have a great day, everyone!

Posted by: Nadine | September 19, 2006 11:36 AM

Bye, Nadine. I will be leaving soon.

Hope it all goes well at the Dentist. Boys are sometimes not as brave as girls. With this sort of thing, anyway.

Ciao, everybody!

Hey Loretta!

Just ran across this article about Geragos and thought you'd want to read it: http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2006/09/mark-geragos-and-the-dirty-dick.php

Posted by: MsBillye | September 19, 2006 05:03 PM

Thanks, Billye. It seems poor Mark has had a rash of bad luck when it comes to private investigators and collaborators with dubious ethics.

He can't seem to get good help.

Posted by: loretta | September 19, 2006 05:12 PM

By the way, good to see you back on line! I like your new blog look and enjoyed reading the 911 article.

Posted by: MsBillye | September 19, 2006 05:16 PM

Thanks. I received a very interesting email today regarding the 9/11 matter and have decided to keep my theories to myself for now. I will be posting something in the future. There may be a paid gig involved.

Posted by: loretta | September 19, 2006 05:20 PM

That's great. I will stay tuned.

Posted by: MsBillye | September 19, 2006 05:30 PM

Yay, Loretta! Congrats.
