Happy Birthday, Baby!

Twenty-something years ago today, when I was only 20, I was living in “cool, green” Asheville, North Carolina and about to give birth to my first baby. We had moved down there in early July, during Wimbledon, and it rained 22 days straight. I started calling the place “soggy, green Asheville" and contemplated building an ark. I had no family or friends within 600 miles. When it finally stopped raining, I played a little tennis, learned to cook, joined a book club and watched “The Beverly Hillbillies” a lot.

I cooked my first (and last) Thanksgiving dinner and watched my due date come and go. By December 5, the baby was nearly a week late. The day before, I had my regular doctor’s appointment and he told me, with some regret, that I wasn’t showing any signs of impending labor and could go another “week or so.” (Famous last words.) I felt tired and sick for the rest of the day and started feeling contractions in the middle of the night. Since I had gone into false labor right after Thanksgiving, I thought this might be more of the same and decided to wait until I couldn’t talk or walk during a contraction. That never happened. It was the longest day of my life.

After about 12 hours of regular contractions but not much else, my doctor ordered me to the hospital. I was so tired by then and hadn’t eaten in who knows how long, all the excitement and anticipation of giving birth was overwhelmed by pain and fatigue; mostly fatigue. By the time I was admitted to a warm, dimly lit, TV-equipped “birthing room”, I was fading fast. I recall that I was given a little Demerol to take the edge off the labor, but that only made me nauseous and slightly delirious. I don’t think I’d ever had a narcotic before and it only served to slow things down. Finally, a distant 20-some hours after my first contraction in some other lifetime, a nurse hooked me up to an IV and it jump-started me like a battery charger. After that, everything happened so fast, I went from 7 cm to 10 cm dilation in about 10 minutes. That proved to be a pattern for the next three babies as well.

A healthy nine pound, eight ounce baby girl arrived at a fortuitous 7:47 pm with a head of dark brown hair. Back then, we didn’t know the sex of the baby before she was born, and I had never had an ultrasound or any other tests, so we had a boy’s and a girl’s name picked out. We liked Dylan for a boy, and the girl’s name we liked was Allison; however, that, to me, was a blonde name and not a brunette name. After some suggestions from the tennis aficionado dad, we decided on a famous brunette tennis player’s name instead of Allison. But, the joke was on us, since our little girl’s brown fuzz wore off and golden blonde hair grew, eventually, in its place. She stayed blonde, too.

Happy Birthday to this sweet little girl who is now a fabulous young woman of whom any mother would be proud; even if she did take her good old time getting here.

What an adorable tot! And she's grown into such a beautiful woman. Happy Natal Day!

Posted by: Astrologer | December 5, 2006 10:42 PM

She certainly is! You have every reason to be a proud mother!

Posted by: CountryGal | December 5, 2006 10:47 PM

I want one...oh, wait!

She's beautiful. She's smart. She's educated and elegant.

She's her mother's daughter.

Posted by: vero | December 5, 2006 10:57 PM

Happy Birthday, First Born.

Loretta, you have every right to be very, very proud.

Posted by: Deege | December 5, 2006 11:03 PM

Really, other than a few rough patches in grade school, she was the dream child. She never got into any trouble, earned excellent grades, all sorts of awards, earned two bachelor's degrees, and wanted to be a doctor from the time she was old enough to talk. Who knows - maybe she'll go on to be a doctor some day.

I also like her husband a lot. I always joke to him about his brother-in-law, Nathan. I say things like, "Your brother-in-law graduated from Kindergarten today!" or "Your brother-in-law is learning to read."

Cracks him up every time.

Posted by: loretta | December 5, 2006 11:09 PM

When I was the age my daughter turned today, SHE was in first grade.

Scary fact.

Posted by: loretta | December 5, 2006 11:15 PM

Happy birthday to your daughter! She and my daughter are birthdate twins.

Posted by: Valarie | December 5, 2006 11:15 PM

10 years from now, I will LIE through my TEETH and tell everyone we're sisters. heh!

Posted by: loretta | December 5, 2006 11:19 PM

Happy Birthday to your first born, Loretta.

There is no mistaking her being your daughter. A beautiful girl, then and now.

Happy Birthday beautiful lady!

Good morning.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 09:14 AM

It was really cold here this morning, Loretta. Cold but dry for a change.

Freezing rain is my absolute worst.

Hope you had a productive day today.

Wishing all the Misfits a very good day. Ciao!

Posted by: Mgt | December 6, 2006 11:37 AM

I hope she had a fabulous birthday, Loretta. If she's like my 20 something, she will celebrate the entire month. LOL

She was such an adorable little girl. Just beautiful.

Gorgeous baby, beautiful, accomplished young woman. No wonder Mama is so proud of her.
Good morning, 'fits. A theory I have re:Mr. Kim which, hopefully, does not become reality: His removal of his pants may have been due to the fact that he had become Hypothermic, which can drastically alter the senses (both physical and mental). One of the symptoms is a feeling of excessive heat when the exact opposite is true. It becomes very difficult after that point to remain conscious.
I had hypothermia at the tender age of 19 and it almost claimed my life.
I pray that he set off with several layers of clothing and simply felt he could spare one as an indicator of the direction in which he had traveled.
I live in the SW quarter of Oregon and I can vouch for the ruggedness of the terrain. High, steep mountains and lots of them!

Posted by: Wenchy | December 6, 2006 12:21 PM

Wow! A big baby for a 20 year old's first.
I was 20 when my first was born, too - 8 lbs. 10 oz. and I thouight SHE was big.
She was so cute as a toddler and beautiful and accomplished as an adult.
I would be proud, too!

"On Tuesday, searchers tracking a creek in a steep canyon found a pair of gray pants they think belonged to 35-year-old James Kim. His family says he was wearing them over a pair of jeans. The pants were found about a mile down the drainage from where Kim left the road.

A short time later, searchers found a backpack and some other belongings nearby."

Good morning!

That 12:32 was me - sorry!

Posted by: Jo Ann | December 6, 2006 12:47 PM

They other anony would would be yours truly.

Fox will cover the press conference in Oregon in 5 minutes. It's not looking good.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 12:57 PM

The sheriff said there was NO backpack found.

They did find 2 grey shirts, a red short sleeve t-shirt, 1 wool sock,pieces of a map, and a blue dress(?). The items were identified by the family and were laid out in a well defined area, in a pattern.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 01:12 PM

They are going to drop 18 care packages containing socks, flairs, flashlight, food, a parka and a note from the family.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 01:18 PM

Are they using dogs? You'd think a tracker dog would be able to pick up Kim's scent somewhere. I would find some good bloodhounds.

The care packages are a great idea. He might have constructed a shelter for himself and only come out a few times a day. I dunno.

Posted by: loretta | December 6, 2006 01:21 PM

I thought the press conference was promising. The clothes that were found seemed to be specifically placed (like bread crumbs) for searchers. And, it was only rumor that Mr. Kim had left the back pack. It was found in the car when authories when back to retrieve things for the mother and girls.

The care packages are a billiant idea.

Posted by: Monica | December 6, 2006 01:34 PM

They were using them at first but I didn't hear anything about dogs being used in the ravine.

The packages are being dropped in a 3 mile radius.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 01:38 PM

They are going to "drop" the search and rescue teams in the ravine as it would take to long to hike down there. Hopefully, the dogs will be with them.

Monica, did you hear what they were going to do with a portable cell tower(?) being brought in. I missed that part. I did hear someone was donating 30 cell phones for the rescue teams though.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 01:57 PM

Happy Birthday to DD#1. Lo, you have every right to be proud of her.

I was hoping the pc was going to bring us better news redarding James Kim. I think dropping the survival packs is a great idea. Hopefully he will be found alive soon.

Posted by: Anne-SC | December 6, 2006 02:12 PM

I just found this.

"Local cell phone provider Edge Wireless is near completion of installment of a temporary cell tower and has donated 30 mobile phones to the search effort. "This is going to provide critical communications" for the people working in the canyon, according to Hastings."

I think they should stake a small strobe light every 50 yards or so and tie a canned air horn to each one with instructions to just stay put and sound off every couple of minutes.

I drove by their apothacary shop on the way home today and it appeared to be closed. People are leaving flowers and all the news trucks are circuling like carrion.

God bless James' soul.

Posted by: Astrologer | December 6, 2006 07:24 PM

I'm confused--if they located him yesterday and made contact, why would they drop all those care packages all over as if they didn't know where he was?

Posted by: CG | December 6, 2006 08:09 PM

They said they were dropping them in a 3 square mile area.

I don't know what to think about that statement.

Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 6, 2006 08:12 PM

CG, I think that set up the temporary cell tower and were about to send him a text and receive a ping as to his general location. That's why they dropped the packages in a 3 mile area. I don't think they made actual contact w/him. At least that's how I took the meaning article.

Posted by: Monica | December 6, 2006 09:17 PM

That last statement was almost completely incoherent. Sorry. I'm listening to my police scanner. My local fire dept. (one street over) just dispatched all their trucks.

What I meant to say is the following:

A temporary cell phone tower was set up.

The searchers were able to send Mr. Kim a text message. Therefore able to track his general location (w/in 3 miles)

They dropped survival packages for him in the general area of the ping.

I think he's been deceased for at least a couple of days. I don't think any of the rescuers actually *talked* to him.

Next time, I'll proof read. LOL

Posted by: Monica | December 6, 2006 09:22 PM

Well, what you said makes alot more sense than the paragraph above, which could lead the family to believe they found him alive on Tuesday.

Posted by: CG | December 6, 2006 10:02 PM

I find it both sad and ironic that so many people out there have gone to the lengths of murder to keep from having "family responsibilies".

Mr. Kim gave his last breath fighting to save his family. The man is a true hero.

Posted by: Nadine | December 6, 2006 11:18 PM

Amen, Nadine.

Posted by: Astrologer | December 6, 2006 11:48 PM

Nahh. We knew it was coming. They have a Handbook, remember?

Very convenient to have a girlfriend with the same name as your wife. What are the odds?! At least you don't have to worry about uttering the wrong name.

I'm sure the plot will thicken yet.

According to the search warrants, Jason Young was in almost daily contact with Michelle Money of Ocoee, Fla., by phone or e-mail in the three months before his wife's death.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, we expected that, didn't we? To some, it may seem pessimistic, but it's a sad fact that surfaces time after time in so many of these cases. Sounds like Scott Peterson's cosmic twin.
And yes, Loretta, they do have that handbook.
Posted by: Nadine | December 7, 2006 02:59 PM
Jason even picked one with the same first name as his wife, so he wouldn't get caught saying the wrong name in the throes of...um...well...you know!
Posted by: vero | December 7, 2006 03:10 PM
I don't assume it's always involving another woman. Mark Hacking and Mike White didn't have another woman in the picture, that we know of. Neither did Bart Corbin. So far we haven't seen any real "other woman" in Neil Entwhistle's history.
Some of them are just selfish and stupid.
I see a book deal. Judith Regan can recover from the OJ debacle.
Posted by: loretta | December 7, 2006 04:16 PM
Oh brother. What do we have so far from The Handbook?
1. Murder of pregnant wife in the marriage home. DNA irrelevent.
2. Third party discovery of body often arranged by perp. Sometimes body not found (or attempt to conceal it forever.)
3. Multiple cell phones.
4. Electronic receipts that will leave a trail - credit card purchases, gas purchases, computer data, emails, cell phone calls, etc.
5. A girlfriend (newish) on the side. Who is probably UNAWARE of the wife. (My prediction.)
6. Motive: emancipation
7. Traveling sales position ergo lots of freedom and expenses can be hidden.
8. Money problems? I predict - usually the case.
9. S-E-X addiction problems or gambling problems. Some kind of process addiction.
10. Suspect's family rallies around with the "He's not capable of murrrrder" defense.
I can predict this whole thing.
Very interesting developments in the Young case.
I'm still not convinced he didn't hire a *hit* on poor Michelle.
Remember, Rabbi Neulander?!?
My thoughts are if JY had the rumored gambling debts, he probably knew a goon or two that would be willing to off someone to collect.
I don't think it's that far fetched.
Either way, I was never a fence sitter on this case. I have believed that he was guilty all along. I was just afraid he might get away with the dirty deed.
I don't feel that way anymore.
Astro, that was such a beautiful gesture regarding Mr. Kim. The world needs more people like you. Thanks friend.
Posted by: Barbara | December 7, 2006 09:48 PM
I haven't heard anything in that regard either, Barbara. I'm just speculating that if his alibi is rock solid and he was actually able to plan that part out to a T, I wouldn't be so quick to rule out a *hit*.
I just find it ridiculous that these husbands are so arrogant and self assured that they don't think they will get caught.
I know there are quite a few murders that go unsolved. I'd just like to know how many of the unsolved cases are the spouse.
Interesting the Michelle's were into math as their career choices.
I guess it's really not all that odd. My brother's ex and current wife are both nurses. People are attracted to certain qualities/aspects about their mates.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that both Michelle's had a lot in common.
Killing your spouse for another married woman, though? What does that tell us? JY didn't want committment but rather just forbidden ex-say?Hmmmmm.
Anyone wanting to speculate about scrap books and yearbooks and sorority sisters, you can always go to Websleuths or PTV.
I think beating the detritus to death is a waste of time. IOW, most of the speculation on CTV and WS is a snore.
We know what happened. It's just a matter of proving it, now.
Ok, based on the search warrant, you can conclude a few things - that the cops are looking at the affair as a motive. That there was an affair and not just a friendship between Money and Young.
That the scrapbook compilation photos was being done after Michelle was murdered.
That there is evidence of emails and other websites that may show a conspiracy between Young and Money regarding the murder.
Was Young in the dark about the murder? Was there anything in the emails that will indicate that he was planning this?
I think that's what they are looking for.
Clearly, Jason is in the hot seat.
Posted by: loretta | December 7, 2006 10:27 PM
I think they will look at the emails very closely to see if Young was telling Money anything that will demonstrate he was unhappy with the pregnancy, or planning a murder.
I think Money, if she's innocent of being involved, will spill all the pillow talk.
I also think that Michelle's parents are going to try and get Cassidy away from Young as soon as possible. They might have a hard time unless Young is arrested.
I also think the two met in Colorado for a 'business trip.'
So much for my prediction that the girlfriend didn't know about Michelle.
That's worse, if you ask me. At least when the lover is in the dark about the wife, it makes her a little more sympathetic.
I think Michelle Money has some 'splainin' to do.
Posted by: loretta | December 7, 2006 10:32 PM
MM is 30 years old, Reunion always gives the current age. They were sorority sisters and even from the same area of Long Island.The other girl Elizabeth Schroff is hard to find but is also supposedly a sorority sister.
Posted by: Captain Joe | December 7, 2006 10:34 PM
Right, Joe. They may have even been in the same level in college, graduated at the same time.
I know my daughters still keep in touch with their friends in college, and my one daughter has sorority sisters she is very close to that are a little older and younger.
Posted by: loretta | December 7, 2006 10:36 PM
Word is that MM is living with ES at the present time, looks like Steve might have given her the heave ho.
Posted by: Captain Joe | December 7, 2006 10:41 PM
Do you guys remember the recent case where the Plastic Surgeon's nurse murdered a patient that had stolen a boyfriend in highschool?
Ms. Money really has some splainin' to do.
I'm thinking there is going to be a double charge in this murder.
Very interesting.
Posted by: Monica | December 7, 2006 10:42 PM
Ok, I thought that info from 2001 was current in 2001. That explains it.
Posted by: CountryGal | December 7, 2006 10:42 PM
Astro, thank you! What a lovely gesture.
Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 7, 2006 10:49 PM
BTW, Joe, you were right about that northern wind whipping off the lake. It was wicked cold in here today! You should see the lake. It looks like an ocean during a hurricane, and I can still hear the wind screaming at my window.
It's pretty loud. I have to have a little space heater by my feet to keep warm!
But, it's worth it. I know, I know. Talk to you in February, right? LOL
Posted by: loretta | December 7, 2006 10:51 PM
From what I read before we left to go to dinner, Ms. Money is cooperating with LE.
Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 7, 2006 10:51 PM
I'm just grateful that I live in the Third Little Pig's house of bricks instead of his brothers' houses of straw and sticks. Those houses wouldn't last 10 minutes in this weather.
Was MM in Raleigh that night? It was homecoming week for NC State Wolfpack:
I still go back to Amanda Lamb's report early on when she gave the interview on GVS. She states JY left on Thursday afternoon.
Thanks, Doe!
Thanks Astro for that lovely gesture to the Kim family.
It was the least I could do for the family and the sweet clerks at the store.
It's a very cool store. Tiny, but packed w/all the best products: herbal and homeopathic remedies, natural body products, gorgeous and quirky baby items. They have esquisite taste.
Posted by: Astrologer | December 7, 2006 11:53 PM
Astro, thanks for leaving the flowers. That was very thoughtful.
Posted by: vero | December 8, 2006 12:41 AM
Good morning.
Astro, thanks for the kind gesture. Very thoughtful of you.
MY's murder smacks of being personal, IMO. If it was a hit, why not use a gun with a silencer? Bashing someone to death is usually an act of anger or rage. JMHO
I think Jason hated responsibility. It looks as though he would do anything to avoid having more children.
Michelle Money was probably just one of many affairs. She may have thought of Jason as a mere fling, not realising that he would become so intense.
Just some stuff going through my mind.
'Morning,
Sorry for the mess w/ the link last evening.
ANW, Maybe it isn't her. I can see, the Agency is from UTAH and there is also a MM in Utah.
Posted by: Anne | December 8, 2006 05:04 AM
Just came by to say an early Hi to Mgt!
And to wish a Belated Happy Birthday to this Beautiful Gal. Loretta, she reminds me so much of those tot shots of yours (those we shared at the kitchen). The Mother's Daughter, indeed.
I still have so much to ketchup here and there, and will do this weekend.
Posted by: Anne | December 8, 2006 05:10 AM
Good morning, Anne. Hope you are all well.
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 05:16 AM
Have any of you ever tried to construct a Christmas Hamper on the internet? Gawd!
My Aunt is about eightysomething and she always goes to my cousin David and his wife over night. She does this under duress because she cannot smoke in his house. LOL
Anyway, I usually have a hamper sent to my Aunt to take along. It is better than trying to think of presents.
Wine, cheese, pate, chutney and crackers is my usual. I don't want a basket - I want a hamper because they are classy and reusable.
Lord knows what it will cost me this year considering I have to construct the thing myself. Urgh!
Aren't I just full of sweet and lovely? Not forgetting Christmas cheer? LOL
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 05:26 AM
If Michelle Money has any sense she should distance herself from Jason. Unless she was neck deep in this brutal murder.
Of course, LE may want to use her like they did Amber.
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 08:12 AM
This was updated early this morning.
"Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said Money has been cooperative with investigators. Sources tell WRAL that she attended North Carolina State University with the Youngs and also attended Michelle Young's funeral."
Good morning!
Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 8, 2006 09:03 AM
Would it have been possible for Jason Young to book into his Hotel, then fly back to do the murder? Or, are the Airways checks something to do with his Denver trip?
Please excuse me if this is a stupid question.
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 09:14 AM
Mgt, the United Airlines receipt was for the Denver trip, IIRC. I'll have to look at the search warrant though.
There was also a US Airways baggage claim ticket and a US Airways M/C statement seized.
Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 8, 2006 09:43 AM
Thank you, Doe. Sometimes my reading comprehension is not the best.
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 10:00 AM
The United Airlines receipt for Denver was dated 10-9.
There was also a United Airlines ticket for JY seized. No date or destination on that was listed.
http://www.wral.com/news/10485228/detail.html
This link will take you to a page that lists all the warrants and what was seized.
I'm mulling over them.
Posted by: testing | December 8, 2006 10:12 AM
Oops. That's not tesing, that's me.
I am testing the "Remember personal info" box and it's still not working.
I guess we'll just have to live with it.
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 10:13 AM
Anyway, just because the cops take something doesn't mean it's relevant. From the first list, my thoughts:
US Air baggage claim - obviously a previous trip, maybe the Denver one, maybe a different one. It could be the Denver trip in October since he has a receipt for a trip to Denver on US Air in October. Stands to reason it is the baggage claim ticket from this trip.
Why?
It's evidence he took the trip. Maybe he met Money there, maybe someone else, maybe it's a legitimate biz trip. It occurred over the anniversary, right? So much for the "anniversary gift" idea in November.
United ticket - is it current? A valid ticket? Other trip tickets were described as receipts. This could be evidence of a future trip - and he should be able to take it if he's not arrested. It could be an expired/outdated ticket. Again, evidence of either previous trips or future trips.
The cops always want to know if you are planning to leave town or the country any time soon after a SO is murdered.
US Air Mastercard - this would indicate he travelled enough to make it worth his while to have a MC connected to an airline that would give him benefits, miles, etc. for using it.
Relevance? Not much unless they find purchases on there that are incriminating.
Hotel receipt - Denver (Adams Mark.) Self explanatory.
Green storage box of papers. The usual stuff.
Insurance, will, etc. were seized in the home, obviously. I can't recall how many idiotic posts I read at WS and CTV howling about how Jason was driving around with his wife's will and insurance policy. Reading comprehension, much?
Cassette tape? Who knows. The cops grab all sorts of stuff. Remember that weird video that Peterson made of stirring chemicals and watching traffic? It was totally irrelevant, but armchair sleuthers got weeks' worth of mileage out of it.
I'll wait and see what, if anything, is on the cassette tape. Think Jason confessed on tape? HAHAHAHA
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 10:23 AM
Have a good weekend, everyone. I hope they have found a reason to lock that pig in a cell by Monday.
Harsh? I know.
Posted by: Mgt | December 8, 2006 10:34 AM
Whooooah: hold the horse.
He had two cell phones in his SUV that were seized: the Cingular one seized in November and a second cell phone that required another warrant on December 1 that is a Samsung Verizon phone. The Cingular phone contained "considerable" voicemail and other data, and they had to get a new warrant to seize and listen to the Samsung one.
Two cell phones in his SUV. Another Petersonesque comparison.
And, like Peterson, he had his head stuck to a cell phone 24/7, and checked his voicemail impulsively!
Didn't Jason Young pay attention to the Peterson case? HELLO!!?? NUMBSKULL?
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 10:43 AM
Jason??! Jason??
Yuppie, happy couple, Jason.
Mutliple cell phones, Jason.
Traveling to meet girlfriend, Jason.
Electronic documentation, Jason.
Deception and betrayal, Jason.
Pregnant wife, Jason.
Death row, JASON!
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 10:45 AM
He paid enough attention to stay out of the media.
Posted by: vero | December 8, 2006 10:59 AM
Not that it makes a difference, but the October 9, 2006 receipt was for United Airlines, not US Airways. So, I don't think the baggage claim ticket for US Airways was for the 10-09 trip. Unless, of course, the United ticket was a one-way ticket and he returned on US Airways.
I wonder about the third phone that was seized. I guess it could of been one of the family members phones that was traveling back with him though. I also wonder what else was seized out of the Ford SUV?
Posted by: Doe | December 8, 2006 11:01 AM
Right you are, Doe. I have an index card on which I made a list of everything seized and wrote US Air instead of United on that one. Correction!
So, at least two trips, probably 3, made evident in that search.
I think both cell phones in the SUV belong to him. My guess is that one of them is a secret cell phone for his hanky panky.
Posted by: CountryGal | December 8, 2006 11:35 AM
Third phone?
On the Nov. 21st search warrant on the second page, it says they seized a cell phone from a purse in the kitchen, same house, same phone #, and provider unknown.
Posted by: Doe Eyes | December 8, 2006 11:42 AM
Three cell phones and an answering machine - so far.
1 cell phone in kitchen in purse, presumably Michelle's.
1 cell phone in SUV - Cingular - Jason's.
Second cell phone in SUV - Samsun Verizon - Jason's #2 phone.
I think his second cell phone is one maybe his late wife did not know about?
We'll find out.
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 11:52 AM
The Nov 21st SW is confusing as it mentions only the Cingular cell phone found in the purse in the kitchen, yet page 4 states two cell phones. What am I missing?
Posted by: CountryGal | December 8, 2006 12:09 PM
http://www.wral.com/news/slideshow/10485125/detail.html
December 1 warrant: Verizon Cell Phone
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 12:13 PM
If you read the above probable cause warrant for the Verizon phone, you get the info on the Cingular phone.
Posted by: loretta | December 8, 2006 12:14 PM
Yes, I read that a 2nd cell phone was found in the SUV during inventory, and they got another warrant 12/01 for that Verizon phone.
The Nov 21st SW seemed to be talking about two cell phones found in the house (page 4), but that warrant only names the Cingular phone found in the purse.
