Choosing to Run at This Moment
Note to the "Anonymous" Obama basher who continues to perpetrate trash on this site - I know who you are and I'm really disappointed that you are choosing to spam my blog. Please stop. None of that spaghetti will stick. It reminds me of the defense case Mark Geragos invented for Scott Peterson: lies, innuendo, unsubstantiated or distorted events and relationships, gypsies, tramps and thieves.
Perhaps you who are so afraid of change or so afraid of a black man being president of this country need to look at yourselves and examine your prejudices, insecurities and belief systems. You may find that the problem is you.

I thought his speech today was brilliant. He struck just the right note. Might as well talk about it, or it will be the elephant in the living room.

I feel Obama is by far the most articulate, educated, and informed candidate for President.

Some may view him as the ANTICHRIST.

And that makes Bush...???
Oh come on Captain Joe! Don't tell me you want to see that Old Age Pensioner in the Whitehouse?!

Face it, we have lousy choices this year. This is the worse class of candidates I've seen in my lifetime. I might be tempted to throw my vote away on Ralph Nader this year. Where is Ross Perot this year?

Mgt, I'da thunk you'd be calling for John McCain, a true son of Robert the Bruce on his mother's side or so his campaign is saying.
Posted by: Captain Joe | March 20, 2008 08:02 PM
No wonder he looks so old!
Posted by: vero | March 24, 2008 09:52 AM
Oh Vero, you crack me up!
Captain, anybody can claim anything. It means nothing.
America, needs someone who is mentally agile with plenty of energy. There is a huge up-hill battle ahead. That idiot, Tony Blair, has dragged Britain into a financial crisis, too.
You are going to get Obama...be thankful!
Posted by: Mgt | March 25, 2008 05:52 AM
Problem is, no matter who we get, we still don't really know what they are going to do until we're stuck with them for four years.

Heigh-Ho misfitzes. I have been on sabbatical in the Granny-mode. Will return in April.
I am staunchly supportive of the positive change of leadership that Obama offers. It is the only bright spot in a quagmire of disaster. See you around the corner.

Hey, Misfits! I used to come here a lot during the Laci Peterson case! Loretta did such an amazing job dissecting that case and kept focus on the importance of Laci and Connor. Great job Lo!
Now, on the political front, I am also an Obama supporter. I can not wait until this man is President. He will have a lot to clean up after Bush & Co. but Barack is most definitely the man to handle the messy task at hand.

I hope you are right!

krix-sape of course La Bohème is correct. Have faith ye of liddle faith. There is no other answer. I am appearing only after I have been splattered against the wall with the wyoming tsunami having left aujourdui, that is today. We rose at 3 to accomodation those. weary and very bleary here.

Obama is the guy to do the job.
It's a huge Clintonian style wannabe massacre happening right now.
Clinton should drop out but she won't. She said she's Rocky Balboa. She's not. she is destroying what little we have left for our future hopes and dreams.
Rather sad because it is all based on her own sick, controlling EGO. I won't not vote for her should she somehow payoff the superdelegates (slim chance but it could happen).
She is truly an embarassment to the women's movement.

Oh, and where are you Loretta?
I miss you!

Actually, I am doing quite a bit of writing elsewhere - on two other blogs (blobs), in correspondence and other fun things, and I'm writing a play.
I am working 6 days a week, have 2 school-aged kids who have many demands, I'm reading numerous newspapers online as well as several books, I spend half my free time on the foam talking to friends, and I'm conducting a rather interesting romantic adventure.
So, my time is rather short for this blog. But, I'll be bach, eventually.

I knew it!! Romance has stolen our Loretta.
